Concluding observations on the combined third to fifth periodic reports of Mauritius*
1. The Committee considered the consolidated third to fifth periodic reports of Mauritius (CRC/C/MUS/3-5) at its 1940th and 1942nd meetings (see CRC/C/SR.1940 and 1942), held on 14 and 15 January 2015, and adopted, at its 1983rd meeting, held on 30 January 2015, the following concluding observations.
I. Introduction
2. The Committee welcomes the submission of the consolidated third to fifth periodic reports of the State party (CRC/C/MUS/3-5) and the written replies to its list of issues (CRC/C/MUS/Q/3-5/Add.1), which allowed for a better understanding of the situation of children’s rights in the State party. The Committee expresses appreciation for the constructive dialogue held with the delegation of the State party.
